How we approach product design education
We started in 2019 with a simple idea: connect people who want to build better products with instructors who've actually done it. No fluff, just practical methods and real examples from professionals who work in the field.

Why we built this platform
Design education often feels disconnected from actual work. You watch lectures about theory, but when you sit down to design an interface or map a user flow, you're left guessing. We wanted to fix that gap.
Our instructors show their process step by step. They explain why they make certain decisions, how they handle constraints, and what to do when things don't go as planned. It's the kind of knowledge you'd typically get from working alongside someone experienced, but accessible from anywhere.
We focus on product design specifically because that's where demand is highest. Companies need designers who understand user research, prototyping, interaction patterns, and how to collaborate with developers. Those skills take time to develop, and you need to see them in action to really grasp them.

What guides our work
Real examples
Every course uses actual projects and case studies. We show the messy parts too, not just polished final designs. You learn by seeing how decisions get made under real constraints.
Practical pacing
Content is structured so you can follow along and practice between sessions. We break complex topics into manageable chunks that fit into your schedule, whether you're working full-time or transitioning careers.
Experienced instructors
Our instructors work at companies with established design teams. They teach methods they use daily, so you're learning current practices, not outdated approaches from five years ago.
How our courses work
We've refined our approach based on feedback from thousands of students. Here's what you can expect when you enroll in a Dalmekvor course.
Watch demonstrations
Each lesson shows the instructor working through a specific challenge. You see their screen, hear their thought process, and understand why they choose one approach over another. These aren't scripted performances, they're actual work sessions.
Practice with exercises
After watching, you get a similar problem to solve. The exercises use realistic scenarios, like redesigning a checkout flow or creating a responsive component system. You work at your own pace and can repeat sections as needed.
Review detailed solutions
Once you've attempted the exercise, you can compare your approach with the instructor's solution. They explain alternative methods and common mistakes to avoid. This helps you understand different ways to solve the same problem.
Build your portfolio
By the end of each course, you'll have completed projects you can show to employers. These aren't generic assignments, they're the kind of work that demonstrates you understand how to think like a product designer.
The people behind Dalmekvor
We're a small team focused on making quality education accessible. Some of us design, some teach, some handle the technical side. We all believe that learning works best when it's based on real experience and practical application.

Course Development
Content Strategy
We work directly with instructors to structure their knowledge into clear, actionable lessons. This involves reviewing hundreds of hours of footage, identifying key teaching moments, and organizing content so it builds logically from basics to advanced techniques.

Platform Engineering
Technical Infrastructure
Our technical team ensures the platform works reliably across devices and internet speeds. We optimize video delivery, build tools that help students track progress, and constantly improve the learning experience based on usage data and feedback.
